A new stand

A simple steady stand designed to hold a phone is all you need to record your creative process. Before I purchased a tabletop lighted stand, I used all sorts of wires, elastic bands, and props to suspend my phone in mid-air above my artwork. The assemblies to hold my phone camera bordered on the ridiculous but they did sort of work. Eventually, I grew weary of the setup and take-down process and busted out some cash for this sweet little tabletop stand.

So far I’ve not found any downsides. It allows horizontal or vertical and 45 degree placement of the phone and you can swivel it to match how your paper is sitting below it. It has lights on both sides of the fixture and a remote control that connects to your phone so you can start and stop the camera without touching the phone.

I did not find one locally and ordered mine from LightInTheBox and you can get the same model on Amazon, it’s called the SupeDesk Selfie stand. The best part is, that you don’t have to use it for selfies. ;) SupeDesk Stand is my affiliate link that will take you to the light. An affiliate link means that if you click on it and buy the light, I will get a tiny commission. It does not change your price.
